Good Afternoon one and all, thought i'd give a bit of an update. My website may not be updating as quick as it has due to i have been a part of a wrestling YouTube channel since Feb 2022 (HCW Youtube Channel) which has been taking a lot of my time recently. I will start to update the page beginning hopefully tomorrow with the continuation of the Best Win/Loss pages. I have also recently moved which has caused slight disruptions too. Hopefully everything will be getting back to normal soon. If you click the link, please like and subscribe. Thank you,

2021 honestly wasn’t a bad year for wrestling, there were restrictions still. However some of my highest rated matches have come from last year.
NOAH had a dream year in my eyes with Nakajima & Kenou leading the way. NJPW weren’t as exceptional this but i feel they have been affected during the COVID period. Shingo Takagi however had a great year. Stardom & TJPW really confirmed how good Joshi wrestling can be. AEW continued there moment from 2020 and really took if further with the additions of Punk & Bryan. Impact became less watchable for me this year and i only tune in if i’ve heard a match was good, where as before i was watching it weekly. Finally WWE and more importantly NXT 2.0, NXT was my last must tune in weekly show by WWE and now that has gone. NXT 2.0 is ok but 9/10 matches are 3 minutes long, i miss seeing random barn burners from Oney Lorcan & Burch, Thatcher & Dunne ect. Maybe 2022 can change this .....i hope Now to some updates, i finally have a search bar on my pages so they are easier to navigate. The 2021 All Time Rankings are out, full list is on the website but i have been realising them on twitter day by day too. Im updating each page to make it look less full on text by adding images to break up them up. Updated wrestlers stats and titles captured etc too. Thats all from me, have a great new year Rate I’m sitting here watching this weeks NXT 2.0 and i thought i’d throw out what i have been up to. Firstly you may have noticed i haven’t been reviewing Impact recently. I made this decision as it wasn’t fun anymore, i did the exact same thing with Raw & Smackdown, they became a bit more of a choir rather than something i was enjoying. So Friday mornings i check to see if there has been good match on a show and watch that instead. Most of the time this has been NXT UK recently. Top 3 matches of the year in WWE have all been NXT UK related. Im worried NXT 2.0 will fall to the same fate as the previous mentioned shows, i watch it weekly but it’s bad at the moment. I’ll give it till the end of October to pick up otherwise AEW Dynamite may be my only definite weekly show i watch. With the others scattered in depending on what shows people have said have had good matches on. I’ve also taken the decision to start rating some older UK based promotions. I have a lot of Southside and Fight Club Pro dvd’s i want to rewatch. So this just adds to the ratings database. I have started to make the pages a bit more eye catching adding more images to break up the constant volumes of texts that you see. It’s a slow process going through each individual page but i think it will be worth it in the end. A few more pages on certain wrestler’s and teams have been added during this time too.
If there is anything you would like to see, please suggest it. I am all ears and im happy to have contributions from you guys. RateWrestle Good Morning Guy’s,
Hope you are all well? August is the time where i update all of the stats rankings eg, Most matches & Highest percentage of title matches. July was a decent month for ratings as usual i enjoyed some GCW shows and at the moment i’m matching the IWA ES Masters Of Pain which has been great. I’ve been trying to branch at more with shows, watching a few more Dragon Gate shows and places like Great. To give the May 21-Apr 22 end of year awards are more broad spectrum. What i ask guys, give your opinions on the wrestlers pages and if there is a comment box have a go. Everyone can have there own opinion. i want a fun little community, no aggression and no hatred just because someone thinks a match was trash Thanks Rate Just wanted to give you guys an update on what the future holds for RateWrestle. I’m still looking into the possibility of a weekly podcast but need to find myself a Co-Host.
The 2nd Annual RateWrestle awards are coming up in May, i shall be catching up with a few shows from the end of April before i release the winners this years. Just incase i miss a few good event I’ve decided to stop watching Raw & Smackdown weekly, unless a recommended match comes up. Unfortunately it started to feel like a chore. Honestly the shows were very bad and i feel i was not giving other companies a chance due having these to shows to watch each week. So now i watching an extra event from the likes of DDT/Stardom etc. I’m also watching ROH/Gatoh Move & MLW depending on the card. Finally i’ve started to add more profile pages after i finished inducing more pictures to the original ones to make it look slightly more appealing. Thank’s for you times guys, RateWrestle This is my second blog post in the two year history of RateWresle, just a few updates on how i’m going to be using the website.
I one man, who watches a lot of wrestling. So the website it updated daily but i can’t updating everything daily. So here is a mini schedule Start of the month Saturday/Sunday Male,Female, Tag/Stable overall rankings are updated. In the new year i will separate these to an active wrestler one which we be updated every month and an overall one which will be updated at the end of the year. Mens/Womans/Tag /Stable individual pages will be updated start of every month. Will be the Tag Teams/Stables start of October. Then Males in November ect Rest of the weekends of the month These are used to add individual pages for wrestlers, today for example i did Daniel Bryan & Shotzi Blackheart. I also updated two wrestlers much watch matches which i will try to do weekly until all pages are updated. February 2021 The stat pages will be updated eg Most wins, losses ect. I do these every 6 months because this takes a lot of effort. June 2021 The 2020/2021 RateWrestle Awards will be announced. Weekly Rota Monday Smackdown/ WWE PPV Tuesday Raw Wednesday Impact Thursday NXT Friday AEW Saturday Old School PPV ECW/WCW/WWF/E Sunday New PPV Indies/NJPW/AEW what ever i fancy or Smackdown if a PPV is on Monday Every Night I watch a couple of matches from some dvd’s i’ve brought during the month. For example...NJPW Wrestle Kingdom IV , AAA Triplemania 2012 & at the moment IWA Mid-South King Of The Death Match 2020 Podcast I’m looking into this possibility in the future. So please be patient with me and if you have any recommendations i’m always open to hearing it follow. Follow @RateWrestle on Twitter Hi Guys, Welcome to Ratewrestle, I just wanted to let you know what this is all about. As all of you who have already frequented this website. I’m an avid wrestler fan. I’ve been watching wrestling for most of my life, starting with the good old Monday Night Wars. I didn’t start going to the independents until early 2013. However, when I saw my first Kamikaze Pro Show, I became hooked. Wrestling is at one of its highest points right now with WWE, Impact and AEW leading the way on the grander scale. However the independent scene has also become killer with GCW, Progress, Fight Club Pro, Kamikaze Pro, Revolution Pro Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling and even RISE killing it month after month, So I started to add a bit more interest for myself by rating matches out of 5*’s. I know this isn’t a new concept. however my ratings are based upon my true entertainment for the match. As you can see from some of the ratings I have given they can be very sporadic. However, that's the true beauty of wrestling. I never give a below 0 score because, in my opinion, that is just silly. Some squash matches may get a 1/4 but that's the way it is. How am I meant to enjoy a 3-second match? I’m trying to update the website piece by piece and am coming up with new ideas all the time like keeping track of all the wins and losses I have seen, which means going back through all the matches I have rated in the last year which is no mean feat. All and all guys I just want this to be a place where you can come and compare notes on what you thought om certain matches I have rated, You may think a match is a bona fide 5* Classic then I may think it is just a 3* star match. That's how fun the wrestling industry can be. So you come say hello, drop me a tweet or even send an email RateWrestle |
